Indian television actor Anuj Sachdeva is soaring high. The actor has been busy with several projects currently. Recently, he was spotted shooting for a commercial along with the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Yes, you have read that right! Apart from being a TV heartthrob, Anuj is the most sought-after actor in the world of endorsements. He is known for several bigwig advertisements on television. Sachdeva is best remembered for Nivea’s commercial opposite Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Following the commercial’s popularity, Anuj most recently filmed an advertisement with none other than Anushka’s husband, the former Indian captain, Kohli. The actor got candid with Bollywood Hush and revealed his experience working with the popular ex-Indian cricket team captain.

Talking about working with Virat, Anuj says, “The experience of shooting with Virat was fabulous. There was a lot to do in the 3 days of the shoot as we had to cover different places around Manchester, and at the same time, it was fun shooting with Virat. He is quite a chilled-out person. We cracked jokes because we had to make funny expressions in the scenes and laughed at inane topics.”
He remarks, “It seems fantastic to be having the best of both worlds, balancing TV shows with ads. I think I have a knack for knowing how the ad world works. I have done more than 250 commercials. Also, I was offered an ad with a Bollywood star but I turned it down. I didn’t want to go after one with another man. But this new advertisement was unique since it allowed me to appear beside a well-known athlete. It is a different experience altogether – you get to know them and understand their world.”
On the work front, Kohli has been shockingly eliminated on a golden duck in his last three games for RCB. Marco Jansen of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) dismissed Kohli for a duck in 2017, and Nathan Coulter-Nile of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) did the same in 2018. Despite experiencing a few setbacks in the IPL this season, Kohli has been in fantastic form in T20 cricket over the past several months. He scored 639 runs in 14 innings during the current IPL at a strike rate of 140 and an average of 53.
