Many MMA fans believe that Conor McGregor will fight again because it seems he is busy with everything but fighting. It has been four years since the Irishman’s hiatus. His highly anticipated return came very close, as he was set to headline UFC 303. The UFC President Dana White himself announced that Conor McGregor will face Michael Chandler at the event. This news got fans very excited. However, they were left disappointed when “The Notorious” pulled out of the fight because of his pinky toe injury.
McGregor’s recent post has angered the fans further
The fans started losing interest in the matchup that was once highly hyped, so much that the promotion earned their biggest gate in history. Fans got more angry when MCGregor was seen promoting his beer business, “Forged Irish Stout.” Recently, McGregor took X and posted a video of him drinking beer inside the BKFC ring. The post raged the fans and they started to criticize the former UFC champion by saying he is no longer interested in fighting.
A user while expressing his extreme disappointment stated, “Bro, let’s be real. You won’t fight anymore.” While another fan tried to motivate McGregor and told him to focus on the fighting. The user stated that he thinks McGregor is not worried about fighting anymore. But he stressed the fact that he should focus on training and share those videos rather than posting these promotion videos of his beer.
Another user also reiterated a similar sentiment and said that McGregor has earned too much money to be fighting again. However, one of the users showed concern about McGregor’s health after seeing him drink so much beer. “Broski gone forever, someone has a liver transplant ready for him,” he wrote. It is clear that his fans are disappointed to see McGregor out of action. However, “Mystic Mac” himself has announced that he will return to fight Michael Chandler before the end of this year.

Moreover, McGregor has recently released a video wearing a ‘Champ-Champ’ cap, in which Chandler took a shot and asked him to fight. So the rivalry is definitely growing and now the only thing left is for McGregor to get medically cleared so that Dana White can announce a new date for the highly anticipated matchup.
