The clash is scheduled for June 29 at UFC 303 in Las Vegas, but it looks in crisis now. On June 12, renowned MMA journalist Ariel Helwani gave a crucial update that left fans uncertain about McGregor’s return. He reported that the UFC is potentially working on a new main event.

The UFC and President Dana White have not spoken on this matter yet. “The Notorious” and Chandler have also remained silent, apart from the occasional social media post.
