Former UFC Champion Conor McGregor has recently announced his partnership with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships (BKFC), with his company McGregor & Entertainment acquiring a stake in the organization. The Irishman has been a big fan of bare-knuckling boxing for a long time and has even expressed his desire to compete in the sport. However, McGregor is under contract with the UFC and it is unlikely they will let a superstar like him go into another promotion.
McGregor took Instagram to make this announcement
This revelation came during Saturday night’s BKFC KnuckleMania 4 event in Los Angeles, where McGregor revealed the news via a video message. According to the agreement, McGregor’s company will hold ownership shares with Triller, who is the majority shareholder of BKFC. Conor McGregor took to Instagram and shared a video in which he said, “Ladies and gentlemen, today I have a huge announcement for you. Conor McGregor myself and McGregor Sports & Entertainment is now an owner of BKFC. Welcome to the big leagues. David Feldman, baby, we did it.”
Feldman expressed his happiness on McGregor’s involvement
The president of BKFC, David Feldman, expressed his delight at Conor’s involvement, specifically recalling their encounter during a card in 2023, which culminated during a faceoff between Mike Perry and McGregor following Perry’s victory over former UFC champion Luke Rockhold. During the BKFC KnuckleMania 4 broadcast, Feldman commented, “Look, you’ve got the biggest guy in all of combat sports owning a portion of our company right now. We are going to do a lot of big things. We’re going to open up a lot of new markets.”

Feldman also emphasized the potential for significant growth and expansion with the partnership with McGregor, looking to raise the profile of BKFC globally. The move is in line with BKFC’s recent efforts to expand its reach, including ventures in international markets and the possibility of expanding operations to Ireland, which is also McGregor’s homeland. His involvement in the promotion marks the beginning of a new chapter for BKFC as they seek to capitalize on his star power and extend their presence in the combat world.
