The feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre has been one of the hottest storylines in the WWE currently and the center of it has been a bracelet. The bracelet was made by a fan and gifted to Punk, with the names of his wife and dog inscribed on it, giving it a meaning. “The Scottish Warrior” has stolen the bracelet from Punk multiple times and last week he eventually ripped it off and shoved it down Punk’s throat. However, now Punk can buy a replacement from the WWE Shop.
CM Punk’s family bracelet turned into merch
The replicas of the bracelet were added to the WWE Shop on Monday and are priced at $9.99. However, it seems that the creator of the bracelet, who has become a minor celebrity among fans on social media after the Second City Saint thanked her for the gift, was not included in the decision to turn her creation into merch. When Victoria learned that fans can now buy replicas of her bracelet, her reaction was, “A heads up would have been nice.”
Victoria went on to say that the bracelet was a gift for Punk, not for the whole world and then shared a third post saying there was no bad blood – nice choice of words – but they were just surprised to see the bracelet for sale online. In fact, fans are asking for the creator of the OG bracelet to receive royalties from its sales.
Punk didn’t appear on Raw this week
While this kind of behavior from WWE is not a surprise, the shocking thing is how Punk signed off on something like this. The Chicago Native was not on Raw this week due to storyline injuries inflicted on him by McIntyre, which means he found out about the bracelet’s mass production and sale at the same time as the person who created it. Punk had previously thanked fans for sending him replacement bracelets, but made it clear they didn’t matter as much as the OG, so it’s hard to believe he wouldn’t mind WWE making hundreds of replicas.

However, it appears the bracelet’s store page has already been removed and it’s nowhere to be found on the WWE Shop, although it still appears on Google. It seems that WWE has either seen Victoria’s posts and wants to make things right, or in the more likely scenario, someone got a heated call from Punk demanding the bracelet be removed from sale. The good thing is, if these were replicas a week ago, maybe the one McIntyre ripped off wasn’t the original.
