The feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre took a more brutal turn on the latest edition of Monday Night Raw, when the Cookie Master confirmed a strap match between him and The Scottish Warrior at WWE Bash in Berlin 2024. The second city saint tends to explode whenever he holds the mic in his hand. CM Punk mentioned Taylor Swift while announcing his match with Drew McIntyre on the recent episode of Raw. He dubbed himself the ‘Taylor Swift of men.’
Punk shared Taylor Swift’s infamous picture
CM Punk’s speech from the Monday Night Raw is going viral now after WWE fans have been sharing the clip on social media. After the segment went viral, the second city saint shared an infamous throwback photo of Taylor Swift on his Instagram story in which the pop star can be seen holding an action figure of him, leading people to wonder if Taylor knows exactly who CM Punk is and is probably a fan of the wrestling superstar and WWE.
Although Taylor Swift has never appeared on WWE shows, the photo was taken in 2012 or 2013, when CM Punk was at his peak in the WWE. This shows that Taylor knows her way around the professional wrestling industry. Several names have been mentioned, raising the possibility of her appearing on WWE shows in the future. The possibilities of a crossover will increase once WWE moves to Netflix in 2025.
Punk is currently involved in a feud with Drew McIntyre
CM Punk shocked the entire wrestling world last year when he made his WWE return after almost a decade at the Survivor Series WarGames, following his exit from AEW the same year. Even though CM Punk’s return was stunning, he suffered a setback when he got a tricep injury while taking a Future Shock DDT during his comeback match at WWE Royal Rumble 2024. WWE took good advantage of the real-life situation and managed to create a storyline involving Punk and McIntyre, who came out and revealed that he intentionally injured Punk and spoiled his entire plan. “The Scottish Warrior” ended up facing off Seth Rollins, won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, and kept triggering Punk.

The Chicago native got fed up with McIntyre’s mocking and decided to retaliate. This led to McIntyre losing his title the same night, three major title matches afterwards and his Money in the Bank 2024 briefcase as well. The feud between the two soon turned personal when McIntyre stole Punk’s wristband, which had the names of his wife and dog on it. At SummerSlam 2024, McIntyre managed to defeat CM Punk when he turned his attention to Seth Rollins and gave him the GTS. This gave the Scottish Warrior the opportunity to recover himself and deliver a powerful Claymore kick to Punk. Currently, the storyline between the two is one of the best going on in WWE and is not going to end soon.
