Indian Men’s Doubles Shuttler Chirag Shetty Discusses Plans for Return to International Circuit
Star Indian men’s doubles shuttler Chirag Shetty provided an update on his partner Satwiksairaj Rankireddy’s injury status and their future plans during a panel discussion at the ‘Beyond the Finish Line’ event organized by Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon. The duo has been absent from the international circuit since their medal-less campaign at the Olympics and is looking forward to making a comeback soon.

“We wanted to win a medal in the Paris Olympics but that was not to be. But never say never. We have won almost every medal except for an Olympics medal. We would also like to win gold in the World Championships. I want to win every medal the sport has to offer before I retire,” Shetty stated during the discussion.

But slowly and steadily, things have changed. It’s the change in mindset that we can beat anybody in the world which is taking us ahead,” Shetty explained.
