A few weeks ago, Chad Gable’s future in WWE became a topic of discussion as his contract expired in the midst of the biggest singles push of his career. Although he eventually re-signed with the company, Gable considered taking another path that fans may not have thought of before.
His re-signing with WWE was something that the WWE Universe and company were happy with, but given his in-ring skills, he would certainly have had his interests elsewhere. Many people speculated about him possibly joining AEW, where he would certainly have been able to showcase his wrestling skills.
Gable considered different paths
Gable chose to sign a new deal with WWE and continued his pursuit to feud with Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. Although he had plenty of options for what he could do, he recently revealed about a strange and unexpected career path he was considering taking.
Gable stated that it is good for everybody to have options and if he hadn’t re-signed, he would have gone somewhere else. The WWE superstar revealed he would have done the masters degree and also has other interests. Motion graphics, filmmaking and production are the things that Gable has an interest in. He also said that he might have gone to Hollywood and tried making movies and title sequences. It has become common for wrestling superstore to move to Hollywood in recent times due to the success of WWE stars like Dwayne Johnson and Dave Bautista.
He has now become the first target of the Wyatt faction
Although Gable re-signed with WWE, the former WWE Raw tag team champion revealed that he considered all of his options before sticking with his current company. “I always like the idea of once you’re done, just drift off, and people say goodbye, and that’s it, you’re done,” said Gable. Chad Gable was unsuccessful in winning the Intercontinental Championship at WWE’s Clash at the Castle. Instead, he has become the first target of the Wyatt Sicks, which appears to be turning into an interesting storyline.
