The history of John Cena and The Bloodline is not new. Cena lost to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2021 and recently he also fell short against Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel 2023. However, the 16-time champion and LA Knight defeated Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in a tag team match at Fastlane this year. The Bloodline has continuously attacked Cena since his recent return to SmackDown. While Knight and AJ Styles have provided Cena assistance in this rivalry, they may need more help to defeat the faction.
Cena’s former rival to avenge him ?
Now rumors are rife that Randy Orton will soon return to WWE. If so, The Viper could avenge Cena’s recent defeat against Solo Sikoa upon his return. Although Cena and Orton have mostly found themselves on opposite sides, they could unite to beat The Bloodline. If the four-time champion returns in the near future, fans would love to see Cena and him reunite. However, Orton is also rumored to be joining Team Cody Rhodes against The Judgement Day at the WWE Survivor Series. Therefore, WWE may not include Orton in the Bloodline saga immediately. The possibility of Orton feuding with the Bloodline at some point is high because they injured him in 2022.
Cena has helped shape many careers
The 46-year-old has helped shape the careers of many stars over the years, including AJ Styles, Rusev, Bray Wyatt and more. He has put up many emerging names like Knight and Austin Theory during his current run at WWE. At Crown Jewel 2023, Solo Sikoa eliminated Cena with multiple finishers. This has definitely made the Bloodline member one of the top names in SmackDown. John Cena is a 16-time world champion and is tied with Ric Flair. However, WWE fans want the company to push him to break the record and secure his 17th World title.
