While fights and altercations have increased in frequency during cricket matches, conflicts involving famous people are still quite uncommon. However, a violent battle broke out between many players during a recent Celebrity Cricket League match in Bangladesh, resulting in six people being hospitalized owing to the seriousness of their injuries.
According to reports, the altercation started during a game between the teams of Dipankar Deepon and director Mustafa Kamal Raj. It was reportedly started by an arguable judgment made by the umpire. Players used punches and slaps in what started as an argumentative exchange of words but rapidly became violent. Surprisingly, bats were even used as weapons in the confrontation.
Shishir Sardar, Raj Ripa, Joy Chaudhry, Atiq Rehman, Sheikh Shuvo, and Ashiq Jahid are the people who suffered injuries. Raj Ripa reportedly said on social media that Mustafa Kamal Raj would be held accountable if anything happened to hurt her career. Additionally, she claimed that his squad had thrown water bottles at her. As a result of these unanticipated events, the competition had to be immediately canceled.

Brawl Amid India vs. Sri Lanka
At Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium’s conclusion of an India vs. Sri Lanka Super-4 match earlier this month, a large altercation amongst the spectators broke out. Moments after India defeated Sri Lanka by 41 runs, a brawl broke out in the stadium’s stands.
In the video, a spectator who was attacked by a Sri Lankan with his fist in response received several blows of his own. A female police officer was spotted speaking with a small group of fans amidst all the commotion.
Although the cause of the fistfight between the two supporters was unclear, it was evident from the empty stand that the event happened after the game. The other spectators present at the incident had to separate the two.
India won the game against Sri Lanka and then met the same team in the competition’s finale.
