There have been rumors for quite some time that former Undisputed WWE champion Roman Reigns will make his return this weekend at SummerSlam 2024. Amid the rumors, a real-life bloodline member of the Anoa’i family, Zila Fatu, has recently discussed the possibility of Reigns’ return. Zila Fatu is the son of late WWE superstar Umaga.
The Bloodline member about Reigns’ potential return
In an interview with Muscle Man Malcolm, Zila was asked his thoughts on the possibility of The Tribal Chief’s return. Zila stated that he doesn’t know, as Roman doesn’t tell anybody anything.
“Right now, it’s like, he is very predictable. But when he does come back, it’s gonna be crazy,” said Fatu.
The Bloodline has added new members
Roman Reigns’ return is still a mystery. Yet, the ongoing storyline of the Bloodline tells that there is a big possibility of Reigns returning to WWE this weekend at the Biggest party of the summer. Solo Sikoa has become the new self-proclaimed Tribal Chief of the Bloodline and has totally changed the outlook of the faction by adding new members. After the addition of Jacob Fatu, the family faction has become more dominant and the new member has also received good praise from the fans for his in-ring talent.
Furthermore, Solo Sikoa also took the name of Roman Reigns recently during a promo on SmackDown and challenged the former champion to find him. The new Bloodline doesn’t have Paul Heyman with them and now that Roman’s name is mentioned, this indicates that he will be seen at SummerSlam on August 4, Saturday.
Zila believes Sikoa should win the gold at SummerSlam
Zila Fatu also shared his opinion on the upcoming clash between undisputed champion Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam 2024, where “The American Nightmare” will defend his title. The Bloodline member backed Sikoa to win the title at the PLE. According to him, Solo Sikoa should walk out with the championship at the event.
Sikoa wants the title to return to the Bloodline since Roman Reigns’ loss at WrestleMania 40. Earlier, the Undisputed title was in the Bloodline for over three years. In 2020, when Roman Reigns returned as a heel, within a week he captured the Universal title from Bray Wyatt.
After winning the title from The Fiend, Roman Reigns set the record for the longest world title reign as he held the championship for 1316 days. Initially, Cody Rhodes was unsuccessful in dethroning Reigns at WrestleMania 39. However, he eventually finished his story at historic WrestleMania 40 and became the new champion.
