Despite a career ruined by injury, Shane Bond’s talent to swing the ball easily left an indelible effect on cricket fans. Bond, a natural swinger, could be a nightmare for any batters in good conditions. Even though his Test career was cut short at 18 matches, he managed to take 87 wickets. He was similarly lethal in shorter formats, taking 147 wickets. He was a bowler to remember for his tremendous pace and vast swing.
