Both batters stirred a storm in both editions of the World Cup by stitching 818 runs in 17 fixtures with an average of 48.11. Warner & Finch scored three hundred plus run-stands together & all of them came in the 2019 edition of the World Cup.
Their biggest opening pair came against Pakistan in Taunton. Warner smashed 107 runs while Finch scored 82 runs. Together the duo added 146 runs for the first wicket helping Australia to put 307 runs on board.
Warner & Finch also added 121 run-stand in front of Bangladesh & 123 runs against England at Lord’s during the 2019 World Cup where Australia lost to England in the semi-finals.
