Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala Injured In Training
On Monday, injuries to upcoming sensation Jamal Musiala and backup custodian Sven Ulreich marred Bayern Munich’s training session. The Bavarian powerhouse said that Ulreich, 18, experienced partial inner ligament damage in his right knee joint, while Musiala, 18, sustained a capsule injury in his right ankle. Bayern did not specify the duration of each player’s absence.
Ulreich had only played once for Bayern this season in the German Cup, while Musiala had a big influence in the early games with four goals and four assists in six outings. He was given a break for Bayern’s 7-0 thumping of Bochum on Saturday and didn’t participate in any full games.
Musiala Represented Germany Eight Times
Musiala, who is only 20 years old, has recently established himself as a starter for Bayern and Germany. In 33 league appearances in 2022–23, the offensive midfielder assisted on another 13 goals, a combined total that was more than any other Bayern player.
Musiala was qualified to play for the Three Lions. He has spent a large portion of his youth there, but he decided to represent Germany instead. Musiala is one of the unexpected heroes of the World Cup in Qatar. He has played 23 matches and scored one for his nation. England captain Harry Kane scored once in his league debut for Bayern. He have won the previous 11 Bundesliga titles in a row. Werder Bremen was defeated 4-0.
Additionally, Bayern claimed that France’s Benjamin Pavard skipped training “on Wednesday due to illness.”
The Italian team Inter Milan is one of the front-runners to sign Pavard. Pavard has been extensively linked to leaving the club.
