BAN vs SL: Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced squads for the limited-over series against Sri Lanka. And the announced squad will witness the return of all-rounder Mahmudullah who has returned to the national team for the first time since 2022.
The 38-year-old has last played a T20I against Sri Lanka during the Asia Cup in Dubai. He has been avoided for the last one and a half years but his scintillating performance in the World Cup 2023 as well as BPL 2024 compelled the selectors to bring him back to the lineup. The series will also miss the services of their veteran player & former Captain Shakib-Al-Hasan who was not included in the T20I series or the opening two ODIs of the three-match series due to his eye problem.
