Babar Azam Talks About His Favourite Batters, Virat & Rohit
Babar, who is regarded as one of the best batters in the world, talked about the qualities that he finds most admirable in long-serving national heroes like Williamson, Rohit, and Kohli. In a Star Sports video, Babar stated that his greatest admiration is for Kohli, Rohit, and Williamson’s capacity to lead the team out of tight spots.
“My three favorite batters in the world are Rohit Sharma, Kane Williamson, and Virat Kohli. They are the world’s best players. They understand the circumstances the best, which makes them the best. They inspire me,” he remarked.
“The ability of Virat, Rohit, and Kane to rescue the team from tight circumstances and score runs against challenging bowling is what I admire best about them. I attempt to learn this from them,” he continued.
After five games, the Indian squad is still undefeated in the Cricket World Cup 2023 thanks to the amazing performances of players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who score runs at will. Conversely, Williamson’s injury issues have made it difficult for him to even make it into New Zealand’s playing XI. But even without him, the Kiwis have a good chance of making it to the semi-finals.
But Babar, the captain of Pakistan, is fixated on his team’s World Cup elimination. Pakistan has only managed to win two games out of six in the World Cup.
Babar Azam Face Criticism
Babar recently faced much criticism due to Pakistan’s poor performance in the World Cup. The team captained by Babar Azam is having a terrible time at the current ODI World Cup; they have lost three of their first five matches. They are going to lose, so it seems unlikely that they will go to the semi-finals. Captain Babar is receiving a lot of criticism from previous cricket players for the team’s poor performance. Many people have suggested that the 29-year-old batter be taken off of captain.
Pakistani all-rounder Imad Wasim claimed that Babar is still capable of winning the World Cup and gaining the forgiveness of all.
