Australian Captain Pat Cummins played a pivotal role in guiding Aussies towards success by scalping five wickets in the fixture & 10 overall. The hosts secured a 79-run win, with Cummins delivering crucial blows, supported by Mitchell Starc’s quick two-wicket burst. Pakistan’s inability to deliver a perfect show with both bat & ball cost them the fixture.
Babar tried to contribute to Pakistan’s chase with a quick-fire 41 but Hazlewood didn’t let him turn his start into a good score by dismissing him after the Test break. Azam’s attempt to regain his mojo faced a setback in the face of Hazlewood’s precision.

The Australian captain Pat Cummins who received the Player of the Match award expressed his love for the Boxing Day Test & appreciated team’s for their outstanding efforts. He applauded Steve Smith & Mitchell marsh’s stand which reuslted in the game ending in Australia’s favor.
On the other hand, Pakistan Captain Shan Masood highlighted the positives in Pakistan’s loss. He emphasized the importance of resilience & determination in red ball cricket & need to bounce back after a loss.
Shan Masood & Co were trolled brutally after poor fielding efforts cost them a fixture. Lack of acrobatic efforts & poor performance with the willow resulted in Pakistan losing second Test & thereby the series. They will now have to bounce back & register victories in the remaining series if rising on the Points table is on their mind.
