Team India and Nepal square off in the last Group A match of the Asia Cup 2023 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. As a result, India’s ace batsman cricketer Virat Kohli was spotted having fun on the pitch. He displayed his daring dance movements to a Nepali song playing at the stadium. The footage of him dancing on the pitch quickly went viral.
It should be noted that this is not the first time Virat Kohli has been observed dancing on the pitch. The talismanic batter does it frequently. He was also recently seen dancing to the Oscar-winning song ‘Natu Natu’. Following the rain-soaked cancellation of their first game against Pakistan, India’s current match is a must-win.
Surprisingly, the effect of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma was felt by Nepal captain Rohit Paudel. Paudel acknowledged the grandeur of these two Indian legends during a press conference ahead of the game.

He remarked, “Virat and Rohit have been the stars of their country for over ten years. We’ve created preparations to deal with them, which we intend to put into action tomorrow. Virat is an example to all of us, not only because of his work ethic, but also because of his discipline, both on and off the pitch.”
“Our players have been putting in long hours for the past two or three years. That is why we have arrived. Our seniors toiled hard (for great opportunities) for the last two or three generations, and now we get to play. We’d like to represent them in the game. But, on the pitch, it will be a game that both of us want to win’” he said of the match. Notably, Nepal lost its first Asia Cup 2023 match against Pakistan by a large score of 238 runs. This is the landlocked country’s maiden Asia Cup campaign.
