There have been rumours circulating about Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli second child’s impending birth since last year. It all began when Anushka was repeatedly spotted flaunting her baby bulge.
Although the couple has not yet confirmed, well-known figures have given their affirmations. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s second pregnancy was earlier confirmed by AB De Villiers. He later referred to it as “false,” though.
Now, without mentioning the couple by name, a different well-known figure has confirmed it. In a tweet, industrialist Harsh Goenka announced that the child would be born in London. He stated that the mother is a movie star and the father plays cricket. Thus, it was sufficient for internet users to deduce that he was referring to Anushka and Virat.

He tweeted, “In the coming days, a new baby is expected to be born! Like the greatest cricket father, I hope the baby takes India to new heights. Or will it become a movie star and follow the mother?” Goenka included the hashtags in her tweet. “To Be Born In London” and “Made In India”
Anushka was reportedly expecting her second child with Virat last year, according to a Hindustan Times story. According to a source, “Anushka is expecting her second child. Similar to the previous occasion, the information will be formally released to the public at a later date. The good news has not yet been revealed.”
Cricket player AB De Villiers of South Africa revealed Anushka Sharma was expecting a child live on his YouTube channel in January 2024. He said, “Yes, his second child is on the way, he confirmed. Indeed, he values things and it’s family time. You lose sight of your purpose in life if you are not authentic and true to yourself. Family is, I believe, what most people prioritise. Virat cannot be judged for that. Although we do miss him, he made the right choice.”
He later said in Dainik Bhaskar, “Family comes first, it’s priority as I said on my Youtube channel. Simultaneously, I committed a grave error by disseminating completely untrue information.”
