There comes shocking news from Cricket World as former Indian Cricketer, Ambati Rayudu has made a surprise exit from Politics in just ten days of joining the YSR Congress Party. The announcement was made on Twitter which has left many wondering about the reasons behind this abrupt decision. Rayudu who had a successful cricketing career entered the political arena to align himself with the ruling party of Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP. The decision was met with enthusiasm from the party president and Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Rayudu took to Twitter & wrote, stay out of politics for a while. He didn’t reveal the reason behind his decision. He took to Twitter and wrote, “This is to inform everyone that I have decided to quit the YSRCP Party and stay out of politics for a little while. Further action will be conveyed in due course of time.” The announcement came as a surprise for his fans & party members who didn’t know the reason behind his sudden exit.
When did Ambati Rayudu begin his Political Journey?
Rayudu’s political journey began in April 2023 when he declared his intention to serve the people. The stunning cricketer who is known for his stylish middle-order batting had kept his political circle & contacts in suspense & no one was aware of which party he would join. After a series of meetings with Jagan Mohan Reddy in May-June, he finally made his decision to align with YSRCP.
With Andhra Pradesh Assembly & Lok Sabha polls standing next door there were speculations that Rayudu might contest the elections. But his sudden exit from politics leaves these questions unanswered.
