It has been more than a year since Alexa Bliss last fought in the WWE. But it seems that she is now finally getting closer to returning to the ring. However, she didn’t hint at when she’d return to WWE. Bliss has been out of action since giving birth to her first child. The multi-time women’s champion has now given an update via Instagram stories, confirming that even though fans have not seen her on TV in a while, she has been getting back in form.
Bliss is back to training
The update was brief, but it still gives fans good news that Bliss is on the road to a comeback. In the photo, Bliss is seen doing a back handspring from the corner, with the caption stating that it was her first attempt since giving birth. Doing it for the first time in such a long time may have felt strange to her, and it’s not possible to tell from just the photo how good or bad the handspring was, but Alexa admitted that she needs to work on her form.
This was Bliss’ first handspring after having a baby, which shows that she is still some way off from wrestling. However, “Five Feet of Fury” has moved on from re-learning the basics and re-familiarizing herself with the handspring, also showing that she has come a long way from her first training session since giving birth. Fans will definitely not see Bliss on WWE TV soon, but hopefully it won’t be too long before that happens.
Bliss could be re-introduced as 6th member of Wyatt Sicks
How long it takes for female wrestlers to return to the ring after giving birth varies from person to person. It depends on how much time their body takes to heal and when they feel comfortable being away from their baby so they can resume. For example, Ronda Rousey returned and won the Royal Rumble when her baby daughter was only four months old. Last year, Alexa Bliss stated that she wouldn’t rush returning to wrestling after giving birth and would not even think about it for the first few months.
It’s been seven months since Bliss gave birth and now she seems to have decided what she wants next for herself in pro wrestling. It is expected that Bliss will be re-introduced through an angle with The Wyatt Sicks. Alexa and Wyatt were close on and off screen and the last time Bliss appeared in WWE, Bray was still alive. There is a high probability of Bliss being the mysterious sixth member of the Wyatt faction or could be involved in some other way.
