Ajitesh Argal Lands Income Tax Officer Job
Argal, a medium pacer with a concentration on consistency who is right-handed, later played for the Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008. Argal works as an inspector for the Income Tax Department. He is now returning to cricket as an umpire with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Argal had a relatively brief domestic career with Baroda as a bowler and lower-order batsman. He participated in 10 First Class matches, 6 T20 matches, and 3 List A matches while claiming a total of 29 wickets. He last appeared for Baroda in the Ranji Trophy match against Madhya Pradesh in 2015.
Through the sports quota, Argal was able to secure a position as an income tax officer. Together with Tanmay Srivastava, another player on Kohli’s U-19 WC team, the Madhya Pradesh cricketer has now completed the umpiring exam. According to Zed News, they will participate in the BCCI orientation program and seminar in August.
