Afghanistan World Cup 2023 schedule looks exciting as the side is set to storm into the upcoming edition of the ICC World Cup 2023 through a direct qualification for the first time. The Men in Red will be aiming to script history and turn the tables by clinching their maiden title.

Afghanistan is an emerging side that has recently made a stunning impact in International cricket. They have not won any major world title so far and have also not made it into the penultimate stage. Afghanistan’s World Cup 2023 Campaign to Begin on October 7

Afghanistan will kickstart their World Cup campaign against their Asian counterpart Bangladesh on 7th October at the lush green HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. They will then take on hosts India in Delhi on October 11 before finally featuring in their final group stage fixture against South Africa on November 10 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Earlier everyone had expected that veteran all-rounder Mohammed Nabi will likely lead Afghanistan in the prestigious tournament. However, now Hashmatullah Shahidi is set to lead Afghanistan along with his deputy Najibullah Zadran.

Astonishing batter Hazratullah Zazai and Rahmanullah Gurbaz will lead the batting attack whereas Naveen-ul-Haq, Rashid Khan and Mujeeb-ur-Rahman will lead the bowling charge. Evolving spinner Noor Ahmed will also turn out to be a vital asset.
