Ace cricketer MS Dhoni, India’s former captain, was recently seen tending to his beloved horses. Since the conclusion of the IPL 2023 in May, the renowned cricketer has been enjoying life off the field by spending time with friends and family.
That was the last time he saw him while playing cricket. Despite a knee injury that limited his mobility, he was able to play the entire Indian Premier League season this year. MS Dhoni expertly led CSK to victory, securing the IPL title for a record-tying sixth time.
He has been touring India and the rest of the world to recharge his batteries since then. To the delight of Dhoni’s ardent fans, CSK has decided to keep him for the upcoming season, ensuring his participation in the IPL 2024.
Ace cricketer MS Dhoni on his time-off:
Ruturaj Gaikwad, India’s opener, recently stated that he learned a lot about game awareness from MS Dhoni, the captain of his IPL squad. Ruturaj is an Indian player in the current International series between Australia and India.
He has been playing well, and he scored his first century for his country in the third Twenty20 International. In those difficult conditions, Gaikwad began the match cautiously, scoring 22 runs in 22 balls before going on a rampage and scoring a fifty-two-ball century.
Ruturaj Gaiwad discussed how he evolved his thinking to bat in response to the circumstances in an interview with Jio Cinema. He said, “I would say I learned being in CSK because, you know, Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni) is always keen on reading situations, understanding the game, how the game will progress. And he basically sends the message that you need to look for a team score.”
The Chennai Super Kings batter added, “You know what the team requires at that certain stage, irrespective of where you are batting, whether you are batting on 15 or not out or you just started, what the team requires just in particular that over. So I believe that has stuck with me. And I’m trying to keep it up.”
