CM Punk has finally made a much-awaited comeback at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. He returned to the company following the main event of Men’s WarGames between Team Cody Rhodes and the Judgement Day. CM Punk’s return was rumored for several weeks and various hints were given as well. Now that it has finally happened, let’s have a look at four possible feuds for CM Punk after his huge return at Survivor Series: WarGames.
Dominik Mysterio
The Judgement Day star Dominik Mysterio has been phenomenal over the past year. He is the current NXT North American Champion. It cannot be denied that Dominik would get a big boost if he works with CM Punk in a feud. A match against Punk could potentially propel him to greater heights.
Shinsuke Nakamura
Shinsuke Nakamura was calling out a mystery opponent in the lead-up to Survivor Series: WarGames 2023. He said he knew the person was close, leading fans to believe that person could be CM Punk. The feud between Punk and Nakamura could be very potential in 2024. The King of Strong Style has also adopted the GTS, a move that was popularized by Punk as his signature move in WWE. It remains to be seen if the two will face each other at WWE Raw next Monday or not.
Randy Orton
Randy Orton made his grand return to WWE last week and joined Team Cody Rhodes to face Judgement Day at Survivor Series: WarGames. He was out of action because of injuries sustained from delivering the iconic RKO to his opponents over the years. The history of The Viper and CM Punk is quite old. They had a feud back in 2011. Orton could potentially enter into a feud with Punk.
Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins also has a history with CM Punk. Years ago, both were involved in a Twitter spat and when Punk made an appearance at Survivor Series: War Games, Rollins was seen full of anger and wanted to hit him. In a few months’ match, it was Rollins who gave one of the hints of CM Punk’s return. The World Heavyweight Champion appeared on Mythical Kitchen and had a sip from a Pepsi can. Rollins said that it has been almost 10 years since he drank Pepsi. If you are Punk’s fan, you must know that he has a Pepsi logo tattooed on his shoulder. Rollins and Punk’s feud has the most potential and they both might face each other at WrestleMania 40 next year.
