In the past few weeks, there have been several rumors surrounding CM Punk’s return to the WWE. Many developments were seen on social media, which pointed towards the possible return of Punk. The 45-year-old star was recently fired from the AEW after allegedly attacking Tony Khan backstage. And now the hints are only giving hope to the WWE fans that they will see Punk in the WWE ring after 10 years.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins appeared on the Mythical Kitchen YouTube channel ahead of Crown Jewel 2023. He took a sip from a Pepsi can before telling the viewers that he had not drunk Pepsi in almost 10 years. For those who don’t know, Punk has the Pepsi logo tattooed on his shoulder and the last time Punk was present at a WWE event was in 2014 at the Royal Rumble, which was almost 10 years ago.

The hottest question online is whether CM Punk will make his WWE return at Survivor Series 2023. When Punk was asked if he would be at the premium live event on November 25, he said, “They are asking if I’m going to be there? I think it’s sold out. It’s hard to get tickets”. This is an open-ended answer. The wrestler has always been a master of making surprise returns but loves to drop hints.

CM Punk has been commentating for the Cage Fury Fighting Championship since 2018. He offers his expert opinion alongside fellow commentators John Morgan and Robert Haddock. CFFC CEO Haddock was recorded with a WWE logo on his pocket square during a recent event. Additionally, Punk, Haddock and Morgan dropped several WWE, TNA and AEW references in the video.
WWE giving the biggest hint itself
The latest hint that suggests CM is returning to WWE has come from the company itself. WWE has updated Punk’s alumni profile section on its website. It remains to be seen whether all these signings will lead to the return of the 45-year-old wrestler to his former home. WWE fans have to wait for the Survivor Series to find out.
