Pakistan is one of the teams attracting attention, and their matches have already sold out. This is the first time Pakistan has competed in India since the T20 World Cup in 2016. Currently, all seats have already been sold for four of Pakistan’s games, including two each in Kolkata and Bangalore. Additionally, the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru are both sold out for all seven of the non-Indian matches that are planned. Tickets for two of the three matches have already sold out in Kolkata. These matches include Pakistan vs. England on November 11 and Pakistan vs. Bangladesh on October 31.
Tickets started at Rs. 800. There are still tickets available for only the match between Bangladesh and The Netherlands in Kolkata. The HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala is hosting four non-Indian games. Tickets for the October 28 match between Australia and New Zealand rapidly sold out at the lowest-priced price. The ticket cost Rs. 1,000.
According to a BCCI source who spoke to TOI, three non-Indian matches at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai had all of their tickets sold out within 15 minutes. The matches include England vs. South Africa on October 21. South Africa vs. Bangladesh on October 24. And Australia vs. Afghanistan on November 7.
As excitement grows, it is planned for the sale of tickets for nine India League games to commence in stages on September 1 at 8 p.m. Given the anticipated high demand, it remains to be seen how soon these tickets will sell out. Tickets for the first three matches, which are being staged in Chennai, Delhi, and Pune, will go on sale on August 31 at 8 p.m.
The tickets for the following three matches, which are scheduled to take place in Mumbai, Lucknow, and Dharamsala, will be made available beginning on September 1 at 8 p.m.
Tickets for India’s games in Bangalore and Kolkata will thus go on sale from September 2. Tickets for the eagerly awaited India-Pakistan match in Ahmedabad will go on sale at 8 p.m. on September 3. The availability of tickets for the semifinals and championship game beginning September 15 at 8 p.m. should add to the excitement for cricket fans.
